Agreement governing use of the Electra platform by institutions and their authorized users.

Acceptance
By accessing or using Electra, institutions and authorized users agree to these terms and to applicable institutional policies for campus elections.
Service description
Electra provides software for managing university and college elections, including student rolls, candidates, voting codes, ballots, turnout views, and result publication features.
Institutional responsibilities
- Maintain accurate student eligibility data and staff accounts.
- Configure election phases and publish results in accordance with institutional rules.
- Issue and safeguard voting codes; educate voters on legitimate channels only.
- Use the system only for bona fide campus election purposes.
Acceptable use
Users must not attempt to bypass authentication, access other tenants’ data, manipulate vote integrity, or abuse rate limits. Campaign materials must comply with institutional codes of conduct.
Availability & changes
The platform may be updated, maintained, or temporarily unavailable. Material feature changes are communicated through institutional channels where practical.
Limitation
Electra is a software tool; institutions remain responsible for the legal and procedural validity of their elections under local law and university statutes.
